Every activity was so much fun and gave a glimpse into Filipino way of life. There was also a delicious feast prepared. I used the word meticulous in Mark’s planning as there was clear communication and felt it was well organised from my perspective
On the day itself, we met the second part of the dream team, Shen! The tour lasts from pick up, 9am through to just after 3pm.
Shen is extremely knowledgeable and it was so enjoyable hearing about her childhood and how she grew up in the village with her family. The combination of Mark and Shen really allowed a fully integrated understanding and supplementing each other’s stories, what a fabulous duo, I truly applaud you for making this experience what you make it!
The stick fighting was incredible, cooking class, coconut preparation for the oil
making, and the traditional dancing and game was so much fun. There was more to the experience, but this was my personal highlight of the day!
I really enjoyed being out in nature and the educational elements for the tour were so much fun.
We had approx 16 persons on the experience, this seemed like a good number and allowed us all to also collectively enjoy the experience together.
Thank you, Mark and Shen and the entire team supporting this experience, to make it what it is.
I happened to mooch over google maps and saw this pop up and clicked on it, so glad I did - if you want to experience something different in El Nido, this’ll definitely hit the spot, slots are limited so I would suggest some advanced booking.
